Bhakti Patwardhan

Bhakti is a Ph.D. student entering class of 2025 in the Integrative Neuroscience program at Stony Brook University. She completed her BA in Neuroscience at University of California, Davis, and worked full-time in research at UC Berkeley and UC San Francisco, working with older adults before joining Stonybrook. Her research focuses on Alzheimer’s and cognitive aging. She is specifically interested in functional connectivity, resilience, and individual variability in neuropathology and cognitive/behavioral outcomes. In her free time, Bhakti loves to read, crochet, and drink copious amounts of coffee.
